    1. Hot water can shrink the fabric and cause fading.


    2. Use a mild detergent. Harsh detergents or bleach can weaken the fabric and cause discoloration.


    3. Wash inside out. This helps protect the outer layer of the fabric and prevent fading.


    4. Hang dry or tumble dry on low heat. High heat can shrink and damage the fabric. If you do choose to tumble dry, consider using a dryer ball to help fluff the fabric and reduce static.


    5. Avoid ironing the hoodie. If you do need to iron, use low heat setting and place a cloth between the iron and the fabric to prevent scorching.


    6. Avoid dry cleaning. The chemicals used in the dry cleaning process can weaken the fabric and cause shrinkage.
